“Historic property with a unique atmosphere, but guests should be prepared for a fully remote experience. There is no reception desk or staff on-site; entry and communication are handled through a remote hosting center by phone, with digital door codes provided for the room. We stayed upstairs in the Molly Room, which felt quite isolated. The air conditioning was very cold and could not be adjusted by guests. There was also no television in the room, so plan accordingly if that is important to……

“Very lovely place to stay. Clean, comfortable and lots of greenery scattered throughout the house added a very welcoming touch. Would choose it again.”

“The place was well appointed and clean. The king size bed was fabulous! However, if you don’t like stairs, noise and no yard for your dog, don’t stay here. It’s by a hospital so lots of ambulances and helicopters. There is also someone in the neighborhood with a really loud motorcycle. Lots of road noise. There are earplugs and a sound machine but it was no match. The hot water takes a long time to come on so you end up washing with cold water. There are thirteen pretty steep stairs to get to……

“Overall good stay. Several of the windows did not close fully wish let bugs in and the parking is tight but you can use the garage which helps. It is a nice location right on the lake. All in all it is convenient and nice for a short getaway. ”
