Capitol Theatre Tours

Room was nice, but there were nail clippings on the floor upon arrival. Check-in was odd, might have been the attendant's first day. She was nice, but seemed confused and was very slow. She had also just broken a glass in the breakfast area and was more concerned speaking with another staff member about the glass than acknowledging that I was standing there waiting to check in. The gym was decent, but tiny. The restaurant was disappointing. Service was slow, staff was very young and untrained, I didn't get what I ordered from the bar either visit (they gave me a well scotch, which was misheard as a double, not the Balvenie doublewood and then they gave me a bottle of malbec and not the tempranillo I ordered because of a similar Spanish sounding name). Friendly enough, but for the atmosphere and the price I would expect basic competence. Breakfast was good, but the attendant was really talkative with another table and spent most of it talking about "corporate" and his grievances or disagreements with them, whoever they are. All in all, a mediocre experience.
