Regret staying here. First step inside smelled like smoke. It’s a non smoking property but our room had a plastic bag over the smoke detector. It entire property was sketchy. We even walked by a room with an eviction notice on it. This place gave me the feelings of a runned down motel. I will never stay here again or recommend this place to anyone.

I booked this property around 7 pm for a sake nights stay, my home having repairs. Arrived at property to find out no one was present to check me in. Waited a full hour but no luck. Location of property is also desolate and depressing. One of the guests informed me they had no water in their bathroom and kitchenette. Dismal space.

The room was not mopped so the floor was dirty and stained. The bathroom sink was clogged. The shower was dirty. The wall near the tv needed painting. The bathroom door needed painting. Hotel is not maintained. Would never stay there again.

This was NOT a typical extended stay America property. It’s location was strange, at the end of a very mixed area of residential & commercial, and appeared to have very long term residents because doors were left open slightly showing the extremely filthy hoarding conditions of what some rooms looked like. I would say some people have lived there for years according to what I say in passing the open doors. The smell upon entering the hallway was something from a greasy restaurant, it smelled like very old cooking oil that was never changed. It was very difficult to walk the hallways going to and from the room. The overall condition of the room was very disappointing as well. It was very dated and not very clean. We were very shocked that this was our room for a nice little getaway trip. We managed to leave a day early and go home but the time we did spend here was not enjoyable to say the least. Thanks to good customer service from Expedia we were able to cut the trip short and leave without hassle.

Last night receptionist had a terrible attitude. Called for an extra blanket and soap, and receptionist told us to go to front and get it. Room was clean but hall smelled like weed and stairs had homeless people sleeping. People were doing doping drugs in the parking lot as well. Booked with extended stay before and I had a totally different experience. I will look for other hotels in the future

I usually stay at a small Scandia Hotel in Carlsbad Village but they don't serve breakfast so I Thought try something that cost 50 more for a breakfast, WRONG NO BREAKFAST just dry muffins and packaged dry oatmeal!! And all the outside door entrances are broken off and the morning clerk not friendly asked for conditioner and all they have is shampoo.. Scandia I will be back.
