“The place was clean and tidy. The airport shuttle service was good; they even stopped by the bank for me before heading to the airport. The staff were very nice and helpful. They replied to messages promptly.
They also provided hot breakfast with different choices.
Just one bad thing, the shower water was cold.”
“Great stay. Really friendly staff and you are right in the historic centre, which is so convenient. Can be loud because you are close to the street but that is part of the experience”
“The apartment was a nice size one bedroom with all the amenities advertised...The apartment was very clean & well kept...The staff was friendly & helpful in suggesting & setting up tours, restaurants etc...I would definitely recommend Old Town Quito Suites Apartment & would definitely stay there again.”
“A nice boutique hotel with great staffs. Location close to old town. Bed is comfortable and breakfast tasty. Two minor issues with my single room. First being no wardrobe. Second the bathing area is too open and water do spill out and wet the floor a bit.”
“Airport shuttle driver waiting for me at airport with my name on a sign. Return ride to airport was on time as promised. Breakfast was great! Hernan was a gracious host. He made sure I had everything I needed. He even booked a tour for me and another guest in which he took the time to be our guide and driver. Great stay! Thank you Hernan!”
“Really lovely place! Clean and tidy and beautiful views. A really nice cafe available and a terrace where you can sit and enjoy the sun.
Appears to be a very Spanish speaking hostel to make people aware but had no problems here”
“The staff went out of their way to make my stay a five-star experience. They took care of every need with exceptional speed and a wonderful attitude. The room was quaint if small, and breakfast every morning was delicious. No complaints!”
“So happy found this gem in the Centro Historico. It’s located in easy walking distance to most of the sites of the Centro Historico. Miryan was a wonderful host and made sure we had everything we needed. Her staff were wonderful and kind and the Hotel is very clean despite being historic. Breakfast (included) each morning was coffee/juice, fresh fruit, fresh eggs and local bread pastries.
We stayed in a *spacious* “family room” loft room with lots of wooden access - our 2 kids got to sleep in……
“Casa Alquimia preserves its colonial architecture and holds historical details that transport you back in time as you walk through its hallways. From its terrace, you can enjoy delicious breakfast or simply admire the city views with the Panecillo hill in the background. The rooms are spacious and have hot water, and you'll find water dispensers in the hallways so you can refill your bottles. Its location is great for exploring the city center or using it as a base for quick walking or driving……
