"Paul's condo is perfect for a stay at the beach! Unlike many who say their places are steps from the beach (2 blocks is NOT steps), Paul's place is just across the street from the beach. Carpinteria Beach is a beautiful stretch of easily walkable sand. We loved watching the sunsets. The condo was perfect for my husband and I, but I think it would be equally comfortable for 4 people. The kitchen has everything you can imagine, and Paul even greeted us with the gift of fresh flowers and Pepperidge Farm cookies! A very nice welcoming touch. The bed was very comfortable and the condo was very clean. We never got a chance to use the pool, but it looked nice. And the complex is quiet, which is important to us.Paul is a wonderful host and was quick to respond to all of our communications. He has provided a binder with helpful information on local attractions and restaurants, too.The only downside to our visit was the heat. Of course, we ended up visiting during a heat dome and the condo doesn't have air conditioning. I am extremely heat sensitive so it was a bit uncomfortable for me, but Paul provided lots of fans and we were able to cool things down enough at night to sleep. Bottom line: we would stay here in a heartbeat if we're lucky enough to visit again. Thank you, Paul!"

"We were very comfortable in Danielle's place. We loved how close it was to downtown restaurants and how it was such a quick walk to the beach. We would definitely book again. Also loved having access to the pool!"

"We had a wonderful stay! The home was spacious and perfect for our group of four couples on a weekend trip. Having a private bathroom for each couple made the stay especially comfortable and convenient. The neighborhood was great, and the home was exactly what we needed for a relaxing getaway. The hosts were wonderful—very hospitable, responsive, and easy to communicate with. We would definitely stay here again!"

"This place was perfect for our family of 4. Literally steps to the beach. Gated parking (2 spots reserved for unit, we only needed 1). We spent 9 days August 2026. Carp is a cute spot that has a small beach town feel, almost feels like more locals than tourists. The condo unit is spacious and well stocked. Linens, towels, and paper products were provided, making it move-in ready. Communication with the managers/owners was quick and smooth (the only thing we needed was a sign in on the smart tv, which they provided in minutes). I have zero complaints!"

"I recommend better instructions on how to lock the door. I suggest; instead of stating "pull up on the handle" rephrase to "lift the door handle upwards in a counterclockwise direction", this action is needed to lock the door from the inside and outside."
