“This was a precious little cabinat the base of @Pikes Peak in Cascade-Chipita Park, Colorado. Lower access from outside to get your bags downstairs, and a neat little spiral staircase on the inside… wood-burning stove, full kitchen with small appliances stored in the living room cabinet, & a gorgeous view of the stars at night. You could literally see the cabin from the Lookout spot near the base of pikes Peak. My cold natured self did need extra blankets even with the wood-burning stove and...

"This was a horrible experience, unlike anything I've ever had. When I checked into the hotel, the person at the front desk, named ? was incredibly rude and disrespectful. I never had a chance to ask any questions, and when she handed me the property map and I pointed to it to show her where my room was, she repeatedly snapped her fingers and said, "Look at me, look at me, look at me," making me feel like I was her pet. I still wonder why I was treated that way, and the only answer I can think of defies logic."
