"I tried to call while on the road about checking in late. A lady answered the phone, mumbled about putting me on hold. She never came back on the line. I called again later, no answer. I called again later, someone picked up and hung up on me without speaking. No one answered the front desk calls I made from 8:30pm-11:30pm (7 calls unanswered over 3 hours) trying to let the hotel know I was checking in late. I left an instant message to the hotel via Expedia, the hotel never responded there either. When I arrived and explained I had been calling the person at the desk started with: "well I just got here" and "it must have been the previous shift". Only after I got irritated and said that that was not the point did he apologize. Not sure who was running the front desk, but they were MIA."
