"Stayed here while attending an appointment at Papworth Hospital and had a great experience.
The hotel was excellent value for money, in a peaceful location, and the room was clean, comfortable, and well presented.
The staff were lovely, and having a bar and restaurant on site was a real bonus. We ordered drinks and dessert, both of which were delicious.
I would happily stay here again if the price is right."

I saw a lot of mixed reviews online... but people need to consider this hotel JUST opened! And, it's opened in an up and coming University neighbourhood... not all the apartments in the area are full yet, and people are still not traveling as much as they used to.
So for me, this place was perfect as I was simply traveling through, I was able to find a parking spot easily over night, and the hotel and surrounding area supplied everything I needed.

Spacious rooms with relatively new upgrades to be sure — so no complaints in room experience. Staff are absolutely wonderful, too. Please note that the property is a dated 1990s layout and architecture and styling. It’s all in serviceable, acceptable condition — just a few decades dated.

Wonderful, tastefully updated property. No detail has been overlooked. Host is very friendly, although a bit too much though. He was very kind, but some people just prefer to be left alone.

Excellent modern property. Not real easy to get to reception area if you’re driving. A bit confusing when you pull up and it’s a busy corner to be confused.

Very pleasant hotel. Fantastic food and service. Only gripe was that the weather was hot and there is not AC in to rooms, but a fan is provided and that made the night ok

Great breakfasts. Clean room with everything needed including hairdryer and large closet with drawers and hanging bar. Friendly and helpful people. Simon is very helpful and cooks well. Well stocked bar with a great atmosphere. If you like, you can see the large German shepherd who likes everyone. It's in a quiet and peaceful village next to a small convenience store. Easy to get to the A14. Good TV channel choice . Hope to stay there again. It's worth a walk in the village. Breakfast is a lot...

Check in was a breeze. Room was immaculately clean. Double bed was very comfortable. Hotel staff were very attentive. Breakfast offerings were about average for a hotel. Dining menu was limited, but presented well. Dining staff was shorthanded as all restaurants or hotels seem to be these days, but were very attentive to requests. Driving from Liverpool to Cambridge, decided to stay just outside of Cambridge to avoid driving / parking in Cambridge, which can be quite challenging. Staying here was an inspired choice. The hotel is very adjacent to the A1 and A14 roads, right next to the Huntingdon Racecourse. The hotel was excellent in every way and was excellent value. Far better value than anything you are likely to find in Cambridge. Super pleasant staff, spotless and comfortable room. Short drive towards Cambridge...

Rectory Farm is a very pretty hotel on an idyllic yet very conveniently located property.
I've stayed with them twice and look forward to doing it again.

This is a fantastic hotel, with a great staff and location. I would definitely stay there again. The room is on the small side, but adequate; the staff are kind and friendly; the lobby cafe is excellent (we ate two meals there), and it's perfectly located next to the train station and within easy walking or bus distance of Cambridge town.
