“This was our fourth (maybe fifth!) stay at Surfscape, and we will definitely be back again, hopefully soon . The house sits right above the ocean, where the powerful waves crash against the rocks and create the most soothing, unforgettable sound. The fresh salty air, the ever-changing ocean views, and the mesmerizing sunsets can be enjoyed from inside the house or out on the deck…just magical. Fun to go down to the tide pools…practically your own private beach. Never disappoints, always gets……

“Great property, exactly as advertised and right at the footsteps of downtown Saint Helena. Easy access and a quiet neighborhood. Host was very communicative and proactively reached out to us to ensure our check-in instructions were easy to understand (they were)! Updated furnishings, updated kitchen/appliances, and a beautiful 'wrap around' porch to enjoy your early morning coffee. Backyard is quaint and very private. Love this property and will stay again next trip!”

“Shante, the host, was very nice and easy to work with, and she made a genuine effort to address our needs. The property itself is beautiful, very well maintained, secluded, and mostly private. The manor is well appointed.However, there were several issues that impacted our stay. There was an ongoing ant problem in the kitchen and the main bedroom’s en suite bathroom. We had to be very careful, as any food left out would quickly be overrun with ants, which became frustrating.Nighttime……

“We had a decent stay at Riverfront. Having the house by the river was pleasant. We were a bit disappointed to find that the hot tub was below the deck and we couldnt use it at night since there seem to be no outdoor light. Overall it was nice secluded stay.”
