Only redeeming factors were it was cheap and the locking mechanism on the door functioned. Entomologists dream hotel, finish your doctorate dissertation on roaches here. Staff was polite but the only time they were seen was during checkin. Proximity to downtown was also a plus considering I tried my hardest to NOT be in the room I rented.

We just need a one night stay and found this hotel. Check in was super easy but I felt bad because we checked in really late. The host didn't seem like it was a big deal at all. I wish I would have gotten his name but I was half asleep when we finally got there. The hotel is a little dated but the bed was so comfortable. Everything was clean and even though we were next to a busy highway, it was really quiet. We would definitely stay here again. And the view of the river was a nice touch too. Great hotel!

We were traveling through and cane upon this motel on the roadside. It is next to the Wanawah River. We sat outside for a bit on a bench and watched the sunset and listened to the many songbirds. It was a pleasant stay for 1 night, the bed and shower were great. Mike was friendly and helpful at check in/our.

This is our second time staying here. The owners are so nice and make us feel welcome. The view of the river out our door is beautiful. Room is clean and the bed is comfortable.

Our room was clean, we arrived late but staff got us our key promptly and checked in. Parking was great right in front of our room. The river right beside was nice for reflecting before we left. Will us this property again for anytime we need to stay in Charleston. It was very affordable for just needing a night to sleep and get ready in the morning.

A cheap--and cheaply run--motel style facility with doors that open outside rather than to an interior hallway. Room was generally clean but had a faint lingering musty odor. Staff was curt, almost to the point of rudeness, and our interaction was not pleasant. Would not recommend.

The people at the hotel were very helpful and courteous. We were attending a youth football tournament and needed housing for several boys. The property was not fancy, but it was exactly what we needed. The refrigerator and microwave came in very handy!! We will be staying here again, and I recommend it highly for people working on a tight budget.
