The Shepherds Huts are delightful. Everything one needs in a cozy space. The staff are friendly and helpful. But the best aspect of the place is the restaurant. The food, service, and setting are wonderful.

The property is almost on Silverstone racetrack and the rack was busy the whole time. Lots of small, very fast, racecars plus other tricked out cars watched from the roof deck or the restuarant. The accommodation is spacious, interesting and comfortable, there are sculptures scattered through the grounds and each "room" has a deck or balcony with views of interesting landscaping or for more money fantastic views of the track. The Castle at Edgehill is well kept, clean, comfortable and in a great location for exploring Banbury, Stratford and Warwick. We stayed in the Astley room and were extremely pleased with the comfortable bed, spacious bathroom and hot shower. The food in the restaurant was excellent, and we enjoyed being able to sit in the pub a couple of evenings, or in the garden, and enjoy the amazing views out over Edgehill and the freshly cut corn fields.Staff were friendly and helpful. What a lovely place to stay. Olde World on the exterior - modern interior. Lots of storage, comfy bed, great bathroom, onsite and secure parking.
Located in a village, a 5 minute walk from a grocery store. The kithenette included tea, coffee, drinking chocolate and milk. Appliances included an electric kettle, microwave and toaster.
Quiet location, easy access. Highly recommended.

The staff is notably friendly and helpful and the Inn has a cozy country feel to it. For history buffs, it is close to the site of the Battle of Naseby during the English civil war, which essentially culminated in a Parliamentary victory (Oliver Cromwell) over the Royalist forces of Charles I. The countryside is quite lovely and conducive to some nice walks/hikes. Again, the Inn is a pleasant spot to relax, eat some good food on site, and enjoy a few drinks without having to drive anywhere,...
