The city of Erie is the fourth largest city in Pennsylvania. Once, Erie was known primarily for its manufacturing sector. Today, however, Erie has made its mark on the tourist map; millions of people now visit Erie not to talk business, but to take advantage of Pennsylvania's tax exemption on clothing and go shopping. Others visit in order to enjoy Erie's beautiful parks and lakes. Get ready to visit this picturesque City by the Bay by booking your cheap flights to Erie on Expedia today.
Most Erie flights land at Tom Ridge Field, which is also known as Erie International Airport (ERI). ERI services northwestern Pennsylvania. It is the third fastest growing airport in the United States. ERI faces competition by other airports in nearby cities like Buffalo, Cleveland and Pittsburgh that are under two hours away from Erie. These competing airports include Pittsburg International Airport (PIT), Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (CLE) and Buffalo Niagara International Airport (BUF).

One great way to save money on your flights to Erie is to fly during low season. In addition, you should book your Erie airfare as early as possible; the combination of low season and early bookings may save you more than 50 percent on your tickets. Also, be flexible about your departure and arrival dates and times. You can save money by taking an early morning flight or a redeye flight; since airlines find it difficult to sell all the tickets on these types of flights, they sometimes release discounted tickets in order to fill the plane. Consider playing around with your arrival or departure dates; you may find that leaving a day or two early will cost far less money. Try to aim for a weekday flight; weekend flights tend to be more in demand. Take a flight with a layover; they tend to be much cheaper than non-stops. Before booking your tickets, make sure to find out whether or not there are additional luggage and check-in fees.

Sat in seat 18 my knees wet hitting on seat ahead as Im6'4"was,uncomfortable!
No frills flight with nice service.
Thought Price was High and confusion with which terminal to check into ( I was told Terminal 2 but ended up having to go to Terminal 1- was lucky Weather was good in Chicago when I departed-
Sorry, I commented earlier that the leg room was tight. That was my earlier flight. This had great leg room!!
Please add terminal number to boarding pass. I flew out of LAX and UBER driver asked me which terminal - 4 or 5? It wasn't listed anywhere and I called and automated voice only told me flight info. UBER driver dropped me off at Terminal 4 because it came first but it was Priority Boarding. I didn't know what that meant but the clerk was kind enough to check my bags and told me next time to please use Main Boarding. I had to exit the airport and walk to Terminal 5 to go through security. Walk wasn't bad, but for someone else they might have been upset. Thank you, Jennifer
This was a short flught from dtw to erie
Despite the flight being delayed and the plane so small, the flight was like a big party. People talking being friendly . Flight attendant was overworked yet still very friendly and courteous
flight attendant told all of us at the end of the flight that we were only running on one engine. not sure what he meant but it really didn't sound good!! just saying.......
Plane was very loud and cold, and the seats in front of the bathroom do not recline. If flight it not full, staff should refrain from seating anyone in those seats. But it's hard to complain about a 30-minute flight. Erie airport is exceptionally easy to move through, and baggage claim takes mere minutes.
