On my last two trips on American Airlines, between April 10th and April 20th we had a problem finding the correct gate for our connecting flight. Flying from Nashville to San Diego with the connection in Dallas Fort Worth, we were given the wrong gate numbers and we missed our flight by minutes. On the flight from Bradley international airport in Hartford to Cincinnati with a layover in Charlotte, I was having déjà vu because I was directed from terminal A to terminal E with only 20 minutes to make the connecting flight. When I got to the gate, it took me asking three separate American clerks in different gates to finally be directed to the correct gate. Our family has always been partial to American Airlines because both my uncle and my mother worked there during World War II and after. But this last 10 days of travel is making me think that customer service has become a thing of the past.
