Weekend get away with husband. First time at this hotel in Chicago. The location was perfect for what we wanted to do-shopping, theatre, restaurants, and relaxing. When we checked in I mentioned being a Gold Expedia member but they did not offer perks. They did offer a discount for an upgraded room which we accepted for the extra space. The room was nice with great views of city and Lake Michigan!! I did, however, have issues with bathroom. The tub was not working properly. The water was also an issue the last night of stay- only hot water even the toilet. We had cocktails and snacks at the bar which was good. Service was excellent throughout!!! The pool seemed smaller versus photos and even though heated was somewhat chilly. We were extremely disappointed that the hot tub was closed off as it was one of the main reason for picking the hotel. Nothing on Expedia or their website indicated that it was closed. You have the option of valet or self parking at a lower rate with access to building on 8th floor deck. Overall,it was a wonderful experience and loved how everything was within walking distance. I would definitely stay here again!
