“Hotel Diamond Chico is a beautifully restored historic hotel with large room, comfortable beds, and a fabulous continental breakfast. We stayed there 2 nights, from June 24-26, while in town for our son’s orientation at Chico State. The hotel is within close walking distance to campus, restaurants, farmer’s market, and banks. “Amazing stay”

“DO NOT STAY HERE! Upon arrival, we spotted an un-housed person and his friend living under the staircase of where our room was located. We spoke to the front office women, who was very kind and she spoke to the (I’m guessing maintenance man or manager, not sure) man doing pool work, who did ask the people to leave. However, he said to them that he was asking them because “those people” complained. Yes. We did. They had their whole living room underneath the staircase, including alcohol,……

“Ac sucked, wall trim was pulled away from wall in places and had rotten wood. Food crumbs under bed and tables. And black mold in the bathroom by the toilet and around the tub and on the roof”

“Checked in went to room ,it smelled of smoke,cigarette in tiolet,bathtub filthy,went to office for refund,showed me another room ,it was also bad,asked for refund,I'd better get my money back,88 for room 100 for security deposit”

“Nice large space with clean vinyl flooring & relaxing bed. The air conditioner keep us comfortable although we would have liked it quieter when it was cooling the room. Reception & breakfast staff were friendly & helpful. Didn't use the exercise facility, pool or wifi thus the lower rating which doesn't imply a shortfall in any way. Stayed here many times & will return.”

“Nice variety for breakfast ”

“I left my brand new AirPods at the hotel and my phone is showing their location as at the hotel. The hotel gave me the runaround for three days and then said they didn’t find them. My iPhone shows the location as active and live at the hotel. They told me to come to the hotel and look for them but I’m too far away. The AirPods are they and they are keeping them I guess.”
