"The hotel was a lovely experience and I would go back. The room very clean and spacious. We had a corner room and a different view from each window. All views were nice. The staff was very nice. "

"Breakfast was supposed to be from 6:30 to 10 am and it closed today at 9:30. When I approached the staff person (regular person) regarding why early closure, she was confused and thought it was 10 so I showed her clock which clearly said 9:30. To her credit she tried to give me the breakfast items she had available. Another couple came in at 9:45 and no breakfast. I note that my experience today was highly unusual. She was the regular staff person and has always done an excellent job, even accommodating people coming for breakfast at 9:55. I was concerned about her since she seemed confused regarding the time which is strange for an excellent employee, who always in the past has been great. I talked to the front desk at check out about my concern, especially over the confusion she had. My review above is not to get her “in trouble “, but appeal to someone to help her. She has always been very acommodating in the past and I would consider her an excellent employee."

"An historic building and thus the accommodation is ‘of its time’. Staff were very helpful. Stay only marred by very noisy neighbor who had tv on high all night "

"Heating and cooling system was so Noisy. Had a really hard time falling asleep. "

"Bathroom looked like it hadn’t been cleaned, there was still hair in the drain from previous guests. Coffee filter in coffee pot was still in the pot. Both rooms had a smell, had to leave sliding door open to air out room. Staff was very friendly and always acknowledged us when we went in and out. It was close to downtown and parking was nice. "
