"Great remodel, clean and right in the middle of town, walkable to everything - including the beach."

"The property was pretty easy to fine but getting there requires going through the entire city. Check-in was a bit difficult due to the fact that there was a city-wide power outage. Fortunately the hotel had a generator and they called in a lady to get it going. The rooms look out on the harbor, which makes for a nice view. Since there are two bridges within site of the hotel, one of which crosses the Columbia River into the State of Washington, it would be helpful if the hotel staff would make it clear which bridge they are referencing when giving directions."

"POSITIVES: Having a trailhead to the Discovery Trail right at the hotel was excellent! We had a few issues with our room but the hotel staff was responsive and pleasant. The room was larger than we expected so that was a nice surprise. Location was excellent. Quiet area away from the middle of town (still not too far). NEGATIVES: The key card to our room didn’t work well. It took several attempts for it to finally open. Then the battery in the electronic lock died. (Then it became apparent that the battery was dying was the reason the door was having issues unlocking). The sink was clogged upon our arrival and maintenance had to come fix it. SUGGESTION: Please provide more luggage carts. There were only two and they were heavily used and thus, unavailable when leaving."

"The room was very spacious and clean. Plenty of storage for clothes. It was a little stuffy when we first got there, but opened up the balcony doors and put the provided box fan in the doorway and within minutes the room was cool and filled with fresh ocean air. The bed was comfortable. Bathrooms are small but definitely functional. Water pressure in the shower was great. The counter tops and sinks are of an older color palette but I’m just looking for a clean comfortable place to escape to the beach in, I’m not looking to match the decor! Location is nice as well. Nothing like waking up listening to and looking at the ocean. Lobby has games, movies and cookies! The only suggestion I have is having the hot tub (and therefore pool) open past 9 for adults only."
