“We not informed at check-in that there was no hot water; we discovered it for ourselves when we tried taking a shower that evening. The next morning the office was filled with people complaining about the situation and the lack of inormation -- according to some guests the hot water had been off for over 24 hours (management denied this). With no guarantee that the situation would be fixed soon, we were refunded our second night's stay and headed elsewhere. At the very least, we should have been……

“Definitely a no frills stay. We had a non smoking room with a queen bed. For two people it was cramped and close to the street. Not much for amenities. The “snack” room did have free coffee and tea. The vending machine had a few bags of microwave popcorn. I do recall they used to have a continental breakfast. If you are on a strict budget this will work. For more comfort and amenities check out the places on the I-75 business loop. You get what you pay for.”

“Though the motel rooms were dated, they were very clean and very comfortable, especial the beds. I also liked the vast selection of television stations. It is conveniently located within 20 minutes of the Soo locks at Sault Ste Marie and only 60 minutes from Tahquamenon Falls. Very quiet and plenty of parking.”

“Wonderful place on the lake. Very clean. We stayed in the side motel. It was dated but extremely well kept and clean. Nice quiet hideaway for the evening.”
