"I loved my stay at this very cute and comfortable cabin in a peaceful and quiet wooded area. I was traveling with my dog, Raya, a German Shepherd mix, and she took to the place almost immediately. It is close to several places of interest…I made trips to Charlevoix, Traverse City and Elk Rapids. I loved how dog friendly Elk Rapids was…they have a very nice beach park where my dog and I played for hours, it is a nice little town to walk with my dog, and I can highly recommend Foundry Craft...

"We absolutely loved this property. My main concern when vacationing in Michigan with children is being close to water but not right on the water. The river is down a stairway then down a pathway, definitely far enough away for safe distance for kids. The cabin was perfect as well. Like everyone else said, the outside shower is great for sandy kids feet and being so close to Lake Michigan. I loved how it had everything we needed. Even a handheld vacuum so I could get the sand out of my car after...
