“This is a great little property tucked in a quiet area of Alamo Heights. The house has a nice 50’s vibe, and the hot tub and little yard are great for hanging with family. The home is outfitted with comfy furniture and a full kitchen, with a few added entertainment qualities that make it really fun. The only draw back that might keep me from staying again was the bathroom. The shower is a menace to society, small and didn’t drain well. If you have any mobility issues it will be a little scary……

“The place look like years ago it was great as advertised but not any more. They need to update the pictures and amenities. The patio could be better to enjoy if they update the grill and hammock. Hammock was too dirty with mold that we didn’t even want to touch. Same as the grill. The inside of the house it was ok. Unfortunately we couldn’t use one of the beds because it was full of fire ants and black ants. Imagine if one of daughters was allergic to ants bites as other people? That would it be……

“We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this cabin for families! It was comfortable for our family of four and made a great home base for exploring the area. One thing to note is that our cabin did not have the hammock shown in the listing, The mattress on the main bed could also use an update, as it was quite noisy whenever someone moved.
