Super cute Studio
The Travel Getaway was perfect for our stay in Cincinnati for our daughter's graduation. We felt very safe at the property and the host was very helpful in helping us with the key and gate remote upon arrival. The apartment was clean and tidy. We did have a little trouble with the AC on the final day we were there. It just wasn't getting super cool. Overall, it was a great place to stay!

1st Trip to Cincy
Overall great studio apartment and communication with host was awesome. They were very responsive. Location was pretty good. Lots of things walkable. We walked from TQL stadium with no issues. Also good location for drigin as its right off highway and you are in the middle of things. Was a little touch and go checking in but again, host was on it at, even at 11:30 at night. Would defintely stay again.

The place was very nice and perfect for our needs. It was confusing to find the place since you entered through the parking area, but after contacting the host, we were able to figure it out. The neighborhood is up and coming, but still a little iffy. My only complaint is that our key fob to open the gate quit working. I contacted the host and someone was supposed to get back to me but never did. We didn’t need our car, but if we had, it would have been an issue.

Lovely place in OTR
We stayed for 4 nights. Had a bit of trouble with a wet gate opener, but the owner was a great communicator and issue was resolved. Place was darling and immaculate--especially liked sitting out on the balcony in the morning and evenings. It was a short walk to Findlay Market and other otr sites. A bit surprised at the foodbank right outside, but everyone was respectful and nice. Bed was comfortable, linens clean; a box of kleenex would have been nice, tho! we got in okay, but I would offer to rewrite the entry instructions! ie, first, find lockbox on fence to lower right of gate. second, once open,, find the key to apt and remote to gate :). We would stay again in a heartbeat. Thanks for a great stay!

Great and affordable studio w/ proximity to downtown Cinci!
The property is a nice studio w/ great decor and arrangement of furniture, etc. The balcony is a real treasure. The neighborhood is a neighborhood. It's not pristine downtown but the price is right, and you can walk to all the Cinci attractions in a few minutes. Came for a wedding and this was a great HQ close to all the events, etc. Would definitely stay again.

This property was excellent. Loved the private parking with the gated lot. Such a cute little apartment awesome for a couples getaway in the city easy 20 min walk distance to the downtown area and lots of great nightlife also.

Nice Apt in OTR Cincinnati.
Nice apartment, as described, location is still up and coming has gated parking and multiple doors to access property. Easily walk or drive to lots of locations in Cincinnati. Owner was very responsive for any questions or issues.

Would not stay again
In terms of communication with the owners, that was good, as was the cleanliness of the unit. However, I can't say that everything else was ideal. We found the key to the unit in an unlocked lockbox, and the parking lot fob was missing, which required us to message the owners anytime we wanted to get into the lot. In the unit itself, there were unlocked windows and a door to a balcony that wouldn't lock. After a lot of work, the window that led to a fire escape was locked, but the balcony door required a wedge to keep closed. We later had an incident where there was confusion with a cleaner that lead to a man trying to enter through that same door and a suggestion we call the authorities; this left us pretty uncomfortable. The unit was also fairly noisy.

Great location
The apartment is tastefully furnished and functional. Fairly quiet neighborhood. The studio is in walking distance to Findlay Market and to restaurants and shops. The only thing that should be fixed is the lockbox. There are three lockboxes. We went through all of them before finding the right one. Since it was late afternoon and enough daylight, this did not pose a major problem. But if you are tired from the trip and it is dark, I can imagine the guests get stressed. The host could be a little more specific with her instructions. If she does not want to number hers, she could just tell her guests which on it is. For guests everything is new and unfamiliar.

The property was great. Walking distance to everything and had everything you could need and more. My only complaint was the confusion of checking in. The lock boxes are small boxes like on a house for sale and were close to the ground behind a mail box making them hard to find. They also were not numbered so I had to try all 3 before one opened with our keys. Then we couldn't get into the parking lot because we had no fob for the gate. I reached out to the host and she quickly responded and we were able to get in. Once you figure it out it's not a big deal the rest of the stay. Make sure to watch the video! We will definitely stay again when on town to visit family.

Nice spot for getaway
The property was just as listed- a clean, studio rental that is perfect for a couple. A short and cheap uber ride from everywhere you'd want to visit. Both the communication of the host and instructions to gain access to the rental were poor. I had to ask for details about check-in 3 hours before the check-in time and when I called to ask a question about the gate and gaining access, my phone call was not answered nor was there ever any follow-up. This is unnerving when you're traveling hours away from home in a new place. Something to consider when booking this property.

Great little studio that was very clean and had everything one needs to cook or stay in Cincinnati for a few days. Main issue was difficulty getting in. There was no number I could see on the lockbox, but I arrived at night. The lock was damaged and difficult to get in. The owner was very responsive to these concerns and got back to me right away.

Adorable spot in a great location
We had a great time in this place. It's very cozy and convenient. The parking is a huge advantage. We walked to local shoppes and restaurants every day, including Fulton Market. We definitely plan to come back. Please note that this place is a studio apartment, with a double bed and a trundle underneath. It's perfect for a couple or for a mom and teen on the go. Over the Rhine is a great neighborhood and we're excited to come back to enjoy. Our host was super helpful and we really appreciate her communication.
