“Manitou Lodge is gorgeous! The lodge itself is amazing: rustic vibe with elk skins, lots of oversized furniture, games, books and big pillows. It would be perfect for a special occasion.If you are interested in the tent sites, number 3, 6, 7, and 9 are the largest and nicest in my opinion.I stayed at the Outback cabin which is the smallest cabin available. “2 adults and 1 kiddo (1st grader) stayed for 5 nights next to beautiful Lake Sutherland. Hot tub was wonderful. Barbecue was great to use. LOVED paddling with the kayaks and paddleboards! (Bring your own life vests) for a cool paddle try paddling west all the way to the creek at the end of the lake, you can paddle down aways in kayaks. The house was great for family of 3, appreciated small plates and kids DVDs. Wifi worked without any issues. Port Angeles was 20 min drive for any grocery needs.……

“We had a wonderful time at the lake and visiting the National Park. The cabin was comfortable and perfect for hanging out by the lake after hiking.”

“We had a lovely stay at this “tiny” house! It was so thoughtfully decorated and equipped. I had not stayed at a place with a kitchen so well stocked with spices, cooking utensils, pots and dishes so that we made a spontaneous steak dinner using the nice grill on the front patio. There are tons of thoughtful touches like shoe dryer, etc. The water heater in the shower was a bit challenging for a big group but nothing that can’t be overcome. “As always, this cabin doesn't disappoint. Its so cozy and there is so much to do in and around the property. The trails are breathtaking. The cabin has all the supplies you could want and then some. Kamala is so nice and helpful. We've stayed here several times, and hope to stay againg. Well worth the price. This is our happy place!”

“We had a great 2 night stay. We have 2 adults (downstairs bedroom) and our 21 and 18 year old (loft). Great location for exploring- we hit the rainforest (go early- the line was really long to get in by the time we left) and Ruby Beach- highly recommend both. We cooked some basic meals- the kitchen was well stocked and easy to maneuver in. Everything was super clean and the beds were comfortable. We spaced out showers and didn’t have a problem with the water. We loved this little house……

“The property is well maintained and very cozy inside. Comfortable beds and couches and a fully stocked kitchen if needed. It is well located to downtown and to the hiking and beach areas which made it a great location. The outside view is fantastic and so relaxing to sit outside by the river. No bugs which made it even better. I would highly recommend this cozy cabin if you’re in the area. ”

“Great spot to stay when visiting Olympic National Park. We loved building a fire outside our cabin and enjoying the view. Coffee on the porch in the morning with the views too was amazing. It was a quiet property, well maintained, and the cabin was clean and had what we needed for our stay. ”

“The view was fantastic however the kitchen did not have the Nespresso machine that was pictured. It would also be a benefit to have a fan in the tiny house because it gets very warm inside during the sunny days and is slow to cool off. ”

“This property is in a beautiful wooded setting and is in a convenient location to access different areas of Olympic National park. It also has easy access to head to Port Angeles for supplies, restaurants and other needs. Between the cabin and the cottage we were able to accommodate our extended family of 12. The cabin had great space for kids to play outside and we enjoyed eating at a large outdoor table. The cottage is down the hill from the cabin and offers water access. The cottage itself……

"It was beautiful right next to the beach. Front desk staff were super nice! The only thing I have to complain about is the housekeeping. It was around 9:30AM when the housekeeper knocked and scanned her card without waiting for a response from us. She tried to come in and I screamed “ someone’s still in here” and she left. I didn’t care about it the first time but she came AGAIN in half an hour or so and tried to come in again. It would been a pleasant stay if the housekeeper was well managed and let them know which rooms are empty and not. Overall it was a good experience as for the location. "
