“Unfortunately, my experience fell far short of expectations due to several issues: - Check-in Delay: Upon arrival, there was an "I'll be back" sign at the front desk, and I had to wait 30 minutes before anyone arrived to check me in. - Unpleasant Odor: Around 10:00 PM, a strong, unpleasant smell began coming from the room. - Cleanliness Issues: The bathtub was not properly cleaned and contained pink hair from a previous guest. “It's a very nice property. My rating would have been 5 stars across the board, except for a couple of things. When we arrived, we had to clean up dog poop from deck and the shower in main bath with the tub had a broken knob so we couldn't shower in there.”

“It’s about 2 steps above an hourly motel. Most of the occupants looked like individuals just getting by… with all their belongings in their vehicles and in front of the motel doors. I had to sign additional forms regarding deep fat fryers, cooking supplies, pets and daily inspections. The room we stayed in was just renovated and was nice and comfortable but they were out of soap so they gave us shampoo to wash our hands. “The house itself is very cute and functional. We love the river views and easy access. It is located a little out of town which provides some privacy but you are still 10 minutes from everything the surrounding cities offer. The house is spotless and the host has gone over and beyond what we expected. She left a personal note to wish us a nice stay, provided lots of hospitality items and is great about communication. We could not be happier with our stay!”
