“Somerset Lodge was an absolute delight. Spacious and comfortable. Very private. The hot tub and pool were brilliant additions to our stay. Can't recommend it highly enough. ”

“This was our first experience in a shepherds hut and it didn’t disappoint. All you need for a peaceful break, with the use of a hot tub, fire pit and BBQ it was perfect. We had a lovely visit from the owners dog (Tara) at the BBQ time which was nice, we thought she might of wanted more than pat and a stroke. The light around the garden in front of the hut was a nice touch especially when the evening comes. ”

“Just needed a place to crash for myself and my party members as we are on a road trip across the UK. The cozy Cardiff cabin was the perfect comfortable spot to stop for the night in Cardiff. We found various food joints just a few blocks away. Parking right out front. A quick knock on the door and Aimee, the host, had us taken care of immediately. Extremely comfortable beds. Very warm and truly cozy. If I end up back in the area I'll definitely be staying here again. ”

“Hillside lodge is the perfect home from home stay. The lodge was spacious, immaculate and really well equipped. I would highly recommend booking if it is available and wish we could have stayed longer!”

“Wow, what can I say we had the most fantastic few days in this peaceful little heaven on the outskirts of Bristol. We had a bit of confusion around the booking as we thought we'd booked the Cabana but it turned out it was booked so we got the Knapsack instead. However the communication with the hosts was excellent and they put us at ease. We were pleasantly surprised on arrival the cabin had everything we could wish for. We made it home for the weekend and cooked and barbecued and made the most……

“The place is very unique and cosy. Everything was perfectly clean and we felt very welcome.”

“I enjoyed a relaxing and peaceful 2 nights stay at this well equipped hut. Beautifully and thoughtfully decorated, it even came with a Shepherd's crook.There was a lovely table outside to dine on, where I watched the sun set, unwinding with a glass of sparkling wine.Very clean and comfortable. Ann, the host was lovely and even picked me up in the lane as I arrived on foot.I thoroughly recommend.”

The pod had everything we needed and the instructions but easy to follow so we were able to relax and enjoy the weekend to its full potential.
