Christmas Train Ride trip

Family reunion weekend
Great house for grandparents, us, toddler and baby. Wish we could have used the garage with all the stuff we brought in for the baby (high chair, pack and play, walker, toys, etc), but it was a great house for the baby to roll around in the walker. Quiet at night, slept well.

This home was located in a really nice and safe neighborhood. Lots of space and very nice pool area in backyard. Would highly recommend this home if you are ever in the Cleveland Tennessee area.

Very Nice Property
We enjoyed our stay. The home was very clean and very comfortable. It was a great location and had everything we needed. The host was very easy to communicate with and was responsive both before and after our visit. My only issue was that the pool was not usable due to a maintenance problem. I understand the host is working on solving the issue for future use. Other than that, it was great!

Perfect Accommodations
We truly enjoyed our stay at the Benwood Poolhouse! The host was responsive and very helpful. During our stay, the pool was cleaned and left sparkly clean for our children to enjoy. Definitely recommend this stay for anyone visiting the Cleveland area.

Just Love this House
Seven 70+ guys shared this house while on a mission to complete an item on our bucket list of rafting the Ocoee River. Mission accomplished and what a wonderful thing to have this house to relax and visit in. Very well equipped and maintained. The fenced in backyard with a pool and dining table complete the picture. Great memories for all.

Property was amazing - VERY clean, up to date appliances and amenities, and even better than the pictures! Host was friendly and easy to work with. We loved the "info book" and snacks that were left for us, as well as starter basics such as a few paper plates, paper towels, soaps and spices. Small water leak due to new sink & plumbing install - Host was quick to respond and get the issue resolved for us around OUR schedule! Would leave more than 5 stars if I could. We will definitely look to stay here again when in the area.

Perfect for large family.
Wonderful home. Or family of 8 stayed here for four nights. It was spacious and clean. The home had every amenity we need including a washer and dryer. We really appreciated the child lock and alarm on the back door to keep the children out of the pool area. The owner was very prompt in replying to communications. We will definitely start here again when in the area.

We stayed for a wedding in Benton, but this property is the perfect location to be between rafting and still close enough to Cleveland to buy groceries and restaurants. House is a good size for 6 adults. Really enjoyed the yard and sitting by the pool!

Great property
We took my son for his 15th birthday and brought 4 friends with us. We had plenty of room(2 adults and (5) 15 year olds) and the boys enjoyed the pool. Had everything we needed and was close to the company we used to go white water rafting. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice location, pool is awesome
This is a pleasant house near Chattanooga, and attractions there. Roomy and comfortable. Pool was the main draw for us, and it was just as wonderful as advertised. Property owner was available and responsive. Very nice stay for our family.

The description of this house is overstated. The location and neighborhood was great. However, we had multiple issues during our stay. The host was friendly and made an effort to fix the problems but the issues were pretty significant. First, this home is titled pool home, but the pool was unusable. It was dirty, buggy, leaking and the filter wasn’t even running when we arrived. They did get the filter running and filled the pool but it was too filthy to use. Second, the guest toilet ran and made noise ALL night long and we had to turn the water off to sleep. The repair man did fix the toilet the second day, which was greatly appreciated. Thirdly, the AC unit in the upstairs bedroom quit working. We were asked to find a key and check fuses which we were not qualified to do. The AC unit had frozen up and we got it to work after turning it off for several hours. Finally, the surface areas and beds, bathroom were clean but under and around the couches had obviously not been cleaned in a long time. Overall this home needs some work to get a higher rating but it has potential.

We stayed here to attend the graduation ceremonies at Lee University. There were seven of us (four adults and 3 children) so we fit very nicely into the house. The house is nicely decorated and the couch is very comfortable and all seven of us could watch a movie together because there was enough seating. It was conveniently located near Lee University so it was easy to go to the various activities on campus. The neighborhood was very nice so we took a long walk in the neighborhood. We took the kids to Deer Park which they loved. It was nice to be able to cook and just relax. The internet was amazing; we all could be on our devices at the same time and no one had any issues. There was a Keurig coffee machine and they provided K-cups for our use which was nice. However, there were some things that could really use some improvement. The kitchen is not well stocked. The reason we rented the house is because I wanted to be able to cook. I never did find a potato peeler or potato masher. There was no big pot to make soup or spaghettI (both of which I made). It was super difficult and I had to juggle pots to be able to cook. I did not find a roasting pan or ladle and the knives leave a lot to be desired. The ice maker was so clogged with ice that no ice would come out. The website indicated that there were two king beds but there is actually only one. The king bed is comfortable but the two queen beds either need a memory foam or need to be replaced because you can feel the springs in the mattresses. Finally, we saw two roaches in the house. I think this is a great place to stay but some of these things should be addressed. The kitchen is stocked with what seems to be leftovers from other people's kitchens and a good inventory should be taken to ensure that all necessary kitchen tools are available. This could definitely be a five star rating if these issues were addressed.

The house and pool are perfect and in a very quiet neighborhood. Had 2 very minor issues that Lauren resolved immediately. Really a super location for anyone planning to raft or zipline the Ocoee or fish on Ocoee lake.

Wonderful Vacation
We have been vacationing every summer with another family for the last 11 years, so we have experienced quite a variety of VRBO homes. There was some confusion with our check in, but Lauren was extremely quick to reply to our questions and no one was inconvenienced at all. We also were initially disappointed that there was no diving board, as indicated in the pictures, but midweek they had a new diving board installed which was extremely kind AND very much appreciated. The property itself was clean, although the trash bins were full and we didn't realize when trash pick up day was until it was too late, so we ended up accumulating quite a bit of trash. But that's not necessarily the fault of the property owner. Overall, we had a very nice time.

The Most Perfect Relaxing Vacation
My family choose this house based on the beautiful private pool and the loveliness of the home itself. The home was spotless, the pool was amazing and we had a wonderful time floating and bonding. And I must say that the master bed was the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept on!!! Thank you, Lauren, for being so easy to work with and for sharing your beautiful home with us!!
