Just what I expected. I read the reviews. I new that the property needed paint, had some wear and tear. I new the home was large and could accommodate my large family. It was close to the ocean. Two of the 4 bathrooms had no privacy, but it was an easy work around with signs, I’m not sure that the locks worked in the other restrooms?? Kitchen has two dishwashers and sinks, which was nice. Washer and dryer was great. Internet was slowish. Overall it was great for our not picky family. Especially when the price was right compared to some of the other houses. Didn’t feel like we were giving up much. Pictures are pretty accurate. If they did a nice fresh paint job in the house it would make all the difference.

Family reunion
Wonderful home and location but in need of some serious maintenance. The dishwasher didn’t work, oven barely worked, the deck was a liability, lights were out, the basement beds’ springs were uncomfortable, the couches need replacing, no screens on windows, broken can opener, no coffee filters, and the property management was unresponsive.

Broken home
The home had so many things broken in it that I do not have room to list them. Non of the amenities worked. Complaints made and ignored.

Just ok, needs repairs and fumigation.
This house need repairs, water stains on the ceiling from a water leak. Bathroom trim and blinds were terrible. Found a spider in an upstairs bed. Killed a huge spider in the kitchen. House needs fumigation. The washer and dryer both need replaced. Soggy clothes and the poor dryer took forever to dry wet clothes. Location was excellent. Property owner needs to do repairs and paint to bring this house up to standards for the price charged. The layout of the house was perfect for our large family group.

Overall an Okay Stay
If you are looking for a big house to fit all of your family/friends than this place is good for that. Sadly, during our stay, there was a gas leak from the stove which was filling up the whole kitchen and living room area. We called to get someone to come take a look- the maintenance guy came, said this has been an issue for years and the owners refuse to fix or replace the stove. We ended up leaving the door in the kitchen and all of the windows open for the remainder of our time spent, as we had no place else to go that could accommodate our large party and they didn’t fix the leak. There are hardly any blinds or options to cover the windows with lots of houses all around you so it feels like there is hardly any privacy at times. Other than that, very lovely and spacious home. If they touched up a few little issues throughout the home, it would be perfect!

Great 3 day weekend
The main floor gave my friends and me a great place to hang out while at the house. Only a minute's walk from the beach, which was a huge plus that I didn't consider when booking the house.

Birthday Weekend at the Beach
This house is so close to the beach! The house is very big, but really quirky. The downstairs has 2 rooms that each have 2 sets of bunkbeds and a full size bed. Very tight but worked for the kids. Definitely not for adults. Also, the lighting downstairs was horrible, so the kids thought that it was very "creepy." The kitchen is AMAZING and we loved the open concept so that we could all comfortably hang out in the same area of the house. The upstairs bedrooms are huge but there is so much wasted space and a very interesting choice of layout for both. Also, we were happy that we brought our Fire Stick since we found out when we got there, that there isn't cable. We needed to watch football! Overall, it was a great trip...just a quirky, clean, giant beach house right by the ocean.

Cheap and weird
Overall, it’s a good house for the money but definitely has its quirks. The only door that locked in the entire house was the downstairs bathroom, all others locks didn’t work. The front door could even be pushed open if not secured by additional locks that were hard to find. The upstairs master bedroom has everything in one room including the bed, shower, and toilet. For a couple it might be cool, but we were just a group of friends so it was virtually unusable. Also, the bed sheets were dirty upon our arrival so we had to wash them ourselves. Overall we had a good time though! Decent house for the cost.

Good for large groups
Lots of space in this home. The upstairs master suites would be more functional if there were cots or trundle beds. Our only complaint was that no check out time was specified in any communication, and rude cleaning staff confronted children in our party, rather than an adult, about check out time.

Family trip to the beach
House was ok, close to the beach. Not a good place for little kids, unless you bring a couple baby gates. House needs some updating, and since better cleaning. Overall not bad though.

Gorgeous House
The house was beautiful, clean, with space for everyone. The couches have been updated, the top floor suites are huge, and even though you don't have an ocean view (besides the peek from upstairs), the beach is less than a minute away.

Spacious three level home was perfect for our group...top floor has an awkward layout however.
Let me say first that everything about the basement and main floor of this house was perfect for our small group retreat needs...the top floor however has the most awkward layout. No divisions between the large bathrooms and connected bedrooms...not even a doors for the strange "closet" that had a toilet in it. If you're in the bedroom, you're part of whatever is going on in the bathroom. Also, no privacy glass or curtains on the LARGE windows upstairs bathrooms and bedrooms either. Made for a rather creepy stay for those in the top level.

Really nice place! ...but we will never go here again.
This place was nice in that it was in a private community and very near the beach! Those are huge pluses for this place! Big and spacious, very clean. Tile in 70% of the house, so noisy. Not really a place you want to bring small kids, kids are noisy. Clean, but not the ceiling fans-they were disgusting. The kitchen was big and nice- 2 sinks and 2 dishwashers is awesome and plenty of seating, but there was no pantry area, so all our stuff was on the counters. Oven knob is stripped so took a couple days to figure out where 350 was, when we called Vacasa about oven, they said house management would call us right away, they never did. Called vacasa twice about it, house management never called. While the house was spacious and nice, it was not built with privacy in mind. Every room has a huge open space above the doors or in the closets to let sound through, even the bathrooms; and the sound goes through. Also, there are full glass doors on one of the suites and bathroom door. No point in closing the door- you can see through and hear through the space above. The other suite is more like a huge bathroom with a bed area on one end. Weird. There are partition doors that slide closed between the bunk rooms downstairs, but if you bump them, they swing into the other room as they are not connected to the floor. Overall, big and nice but no privacy. This place is cool, but we will never go here again.

Spacious and well stocked.
Our group of 12 loved the great room space for playing games, watching March Madness, relaxing and eating meals together. The kitchen is very well stocked and has 2 sinks, 2 refrigerators and 2 dishwashers which made food prep and cleaning up a breeze. The property manager was quick to respond to a couple of issues, he was very polite and helpful. As noted in several of the other reviews the house needs some updates and a deep clean but we knew that when we rented it. Our only major complaint is the quality of the mattresses. Several of us slept pretty poorly due to the low quality mattresses.

Good sized but has some repair needs.
Property was good and worked well for our group in general. There was a wind storm the second night and the storm door slammed open and closed all night driving the people out of the upstairs bedrooms as it was too loud to sleep. They ended up on the floor down stairs.

Big House Great for Multiple Family's or Sports team ( Needs updating)
Booked house for a fun family weekend away with our teenage daughters and two friends. Arrived Friday night to the downstairs heat not working and broken down mattresses in the two upstairs master bedrooms. First night was a little tough. Loved the open space concept. Have stayed in the house 10 years prior and found it essentially unchanged. The second night slept in the basement to give the girls our suite upstairs. Found the circuit breaker tripped and fixed the heat but the oven stuck on due the nob being stripped had to go outside and turn the gas off at the source to shut it off. The beds downstairs were hard and old. Overall if I has a ton of kids and wanted a big house for all of them or a sports team retreat this house might work for the price. Our weekend was very uncomfortable and plagued with issues that left us rather disappointed. The good news is VACASA made it right with an adjustment so I'm going with 3 stars. In summary better than camping on the beach but definitely needs some much needed upgrades beds and appliances at a minimum to start. Won't rent this home again but will work with VACASA.
