"1st vacation in years for "us Grandparents". Honestly, just looking towards the western sunset made our stay excellent. My wife and I only drove a couple of hours for this stay and we would have traveled much further (if needed). Overall, it felt like a home (away from home) for us. The time flew by very fast & that helps explain how our time was very enjoyable. We liked feeling so welcome, right from the start. We had a chance to enjoy water (right out the back door)... Fishing, boating, a great sandbar (just 25 min away) by boat, a campfire & grilling out, along with all of the amenities. This place is well worth it! We have this on our "Go To" list for future stay's (for several reasons). The adults were never bored and for a bonus, the kids (under 10) were happy the whole time also. A personal area to play in the sand, lily pads & turtles out back etc. made it great for everyone. A good bit of clean, fun nature made for an exciting (yet relaxing) vacation for all.
