“My husband and I stayed a couple nights for an anniversary getaway. The peaceful lakeview is perfect for the cozy cottage. We watched turtles, swans, and ducks and listened to the sounds of a loon and other songbirds. The hosts were communicative and friendly the entire process. We would stay here again.”

“we spent a long weekend in michigan for my sweet partner’s birthday. i wanted to make sure we indulged in some of his favorite things while we were away, and this cozy apartment was the perfect home base. the city of reading was full of small town vibez including locally owned restaurants and dispensaries. the weather was a lil chilly and rainy for our time away, but we were thrilled to have a comfortable space to watch movies and smoke without bother. every single person we dealt with in town……

“It was pleasant. Very quiet and wonderful view of the lake. Excellent fishing. I had a few things that required online access to complete, so I selected a locations that listed wifi. Unfortunately the wifi was extremely slow so U had a hard time sending email. That said if you want a remote spot where you feel left alone to fish, this is great. Most people do not rent a lake cabin for the internet access though...”

Fishing off the dock was fantastic - the kids were catching fish as fast as they could bait their lines. The kitchen and outdoor spaces were incredibly equipped. “The house was amazing! It was very peaceful and quiet. My wife, son and I had a blast. It was nice to get away from everything for a few days. Joshua was very quick to responding if any questions arose. Great host! We will definitely be coming back. Wasnt quite warm enough to enjoy swimming but we cruised around in the boat still which was a great bonus. We would 100% recommend. Thanks for letting us enjoy your home! Cant wait to come back!”

“We had a great stay at this Rustic Hills Retreat lakehouse. The views are absolutely stunning to see from sunrise to sunset and outdoor space is amazing and puts you at peace! My brother enjoyed fishing off the dock. We both enjoyed the pool table inside as well. Overall, we both enjoyed our time here between inside and outdoor space. It was even a perfect spot to travel to Kalamazoo, Battle Creek and Coldwater all within about 25 to 40 minutes. We even had a slight issue getting in to the……
