“Was driving from Telluride to Montrose when the mudslide came and closed the road. Had terrible time trying to figure out how to get to Montrose. Called the hotel to see if I could cancel the reservation since I would have to reroute and drive thru mountains at nite. Was told since I booked thru Expedia that I couldn’t cancel. So we arrived at hotel much later than expected. The room was huge and it was clean. Breakfast was ok. We got there at 8:30am and they were out of items and only got 1 cup……

“The room was clean, our concern was Avathe air conditioner. It was very noisy and I wore ear plugs to be able to sleep. It did keep the room cool when it was 105 degrees outside. We have 2 suggestions for the owners to consider. A chair should be added to the bedroom and a short bar should be added to the shower wall for safety. It’s in a good location in Palisade and has free parking. Breakfast is brought to your room and the staff is very friendly and accommodating.”

“We requested a roll away bed for my grandson or 2 queen beds - he had to sleep on the floor. Requested a handicapped room or on the first floor and we had to walk up 3 sets of stairs to get to our room. Staff was gone when we arrived they left they key on the desk at 10pm”

“We were in town for a lot of outdoor adventures with our dog, so this was a wonderful choice for us. They are dog-friendly, as is the entire town. The rooms are updated and cute with a fun modern boho redone motel feel. It feels new and old at the same time and is very charming. This is very much more of a DIY hotel experience, though; there are not a lot of cleaning services because its unnessary, which I appreciate and is more environmentally friendly.
