"I like the oldness of the hotel creeky floors and all and staircase going up salad and flat bread at restaurant very good my only complaint the sheets were pilly making a gritty feel instead of nice and smooth"

"The property is very out of date. TV was not functioning properly. The pool area is very dark at night, so much that I didn’t feel comfortable swimming with my toddler. The main lounge area with the fireplace has a very neat atmosphere, but the actual room itself needs all new updates. I don’t know how this is rated as a 4 star hotel. Definitely not worth more than $100/night."

"Great value for the location. Room was clean, spacious, and well decorated. Breakfast in the restaurant downstairs was delicious."

"It wasn’t the worst. It wasn’t the best. Good notes: over all it was clean and we felt safe. On the down side I was disappointed that the hot tub jets didn’t work and it seemed that they have not worked for a long time. Unsure if there is a plan to fix them. I was also taken back by the incidental deposit which cost more than I paid for the room. The breakfast was good and like I said it was clean and we felt safe. "

"Room and bathroom was clean. Staff was helpful. Need more servers at the casino, waited an hour for 1 drink. Buffet was pretty good. The pool attendant told me I’ll be charged if I took a towel from the pool area. Overall, decent stay. "

"The price and location are good. But this property has an entire floor of rooms with no windows - or a window that opens to a literal brick wall with no light whatsoever!! When moved to a new room when our mini fridge did not work, we were moved to another room without a window. Tell customers that ahead of time!"

"We were very pleasantly surprised at how lovely our stay was. The staff were friendly and abundant, always trying to be helpful. Seriously, everyone was so nice! There was one young staffer, who was pretty stern with the rule of putting in your room service order the night before strictly before 9 PM, as we tried to put our order in it 9:04 PM and it was too late. So just be sure that you put your order in the night before on time! We were still able to call in our order in the morning and it came just fine. We also had breakfast at the Grandview restaurant and our server Casey was exceptionally kind and attentive. He tried to help us figure out a couple of Vegan options as well. The views were wonderful, and the rooms were so nice in the lodge. We liked hooking up the Bluetooth to the bathroom mirror, the delicious nespresso, coffee, light up closet, warm fireplace, hot tub, which was indoors, but the glass doors were wide open which made you almost feel like you were outside. This is a great place! The staff are all truly wonderful!"
