“Overall very clean room, great stay for the price. It was a bit farther from Metro station (NoMA) than I anticipated, 1.1 miles, if you plan to use subway. The host was friendly and communicated well, also left water and essential items, which was appreciated. ”

“This was our first time in Washington and I would caution everyone to avoid NW if possible. Was convenient to the DC Streetcar however the unit is located almost directly over a liquor store and the walk to it was dicey. I wasn't aware but apparently pot is legal and used openly in public. Would not have brought the kids had I been warned. The unit itself was TINY. We felt pretty safe being on the 3rd floor but it was quite noisy from the traffic and late night partiers across the street.……

“While the description of the property was technically true, it fell short of expectations. For example, the description said that there were room darkening shades, but it was just regular shades that were very basic and let in a lot of light. Because of food allergies, we have to have access to a kitchen and this is why we went VRBO instead of a hotel or similar. The kitchen was ridiculously unstocked. “The room was pristine and so well-decorated, personal, warm, relaxing. The staff cannot do enough for you. Be prepared for a knockout breakfast (we learned a secret to those airy scrambled eggs, a dollop of sour cream). The dining room is completely windowed so the farm is always visible. There are places to sit and read, also well-decorated and relaxing. That is the leitmotif of this place -- relax. Then, enjoy. The fireplace was perfect for the chill of March. “Bright, modern penthouse in a great location. We really liked it. You get some city noise (e.g. ambulances) but that's to be expected given the location. Only 1.5 blocks to a Metro station so it's easy to get around if you want to save on Ubers. Cleanliness was "good" but not "perfect", hence the one star taken off. Definitely among the better properties even on cleanliness. Smooth check-in and check-out, and good responsiveness from the manager. I would stay there again.”
