“It was nice to have a clean, modern place to stay that is walking distance to Brookland, where my daughter lives. Hotels are not close to her so this was an excellent alternative. Modern appliances, great shower, and comfortable bed were a definite plus. The building and apartment are secure with codes locks. ”

“I would not recommend this place. The loft was dirty when we arrived, dirt on the rug and black hairs in the shower and in the bed . The room was also about 80 degrees . We were running late for our meeting due to traffic so couldn’t address this at the time. At about 11:30pm we came back and just got our things . I sent the owner a message and asked for some kind of refund . I get that the place is old but at least make sure it’s clean . So now we were exhausted from the drive and the training……

“The room was pristine and so well-decorated, personal, warm, relaxing. The staff cannot do enough for you. Be prepared for a knockout breakfast (we learned a secret to those airy scrambled eggs, a dollop of sour cream). The dining room is completely windowed so the farm is always visible. There are places to sit and read, also well-decorated and relaxing. That is the leitmotif of this place -- relax. Then, enjoy. The fireplace was perfect for the chill of March. “We were a party of 5 and there was more than enough space for everyone. We all had our own bed which was a plus. The location was pretty central to everywhere we wantes to be. In town for a conference at the convention center which was about a 10 minute drive. Its alot of stairs if tou have lots of luggge. While we were in D.C. the weather was in the 90s which cause thed upstairs bedrooms to be very hot. They never cooled down like we slept on top of the bedding. Other than the heat the place……
