For the price it’s great! There wasn’t toilet paper or towels in the room when we first got there, but with a simple ask it was fixed immediately! You can’t beat this location. It’s 10 minute walking distance from everything German village and brewery district. Sheets and shower seemed clean and there’s a tv, mini fridge, AC, and plenty of parking! No complaints.

This is a basic no-frills property. You were looking for a clean place to stay at a reasonable price then this is it. Just do not expect luxury. It is definitely worth what they charge.

The German Village Inn was pretty much what I expected when I booked it. The room was clean, the front desk service was quick and efficient, and the bed was comfortable. Nothing particularly stood out as exceptional, but nothing was disappointing either. It's a straightforward, functional place to stay if you're simply looking for a clean, comfortable room without any extras. My biggest complaint was the outside noise. It was noticeable enough to wake me several times throughout the night, leaving me feeling less rested than I would have liked. Overall, it delivers on the basics and meets expectations for a budget-friendly stay, but the noise could be a dealbreaker for light sleepers.

Good for inexpensive overnight stay with no frills. Room was spacious and mostly clean. Parking was convenient, but noisy when people left in the early morning. Good German restaurant and beautiful park within walking distance. There were roofers working one day, which I was unaware would happen, so had to leave earlier than I intended.

It was a fair price for a "mid" room. Didnt hear people yelling, room was right temp, room was clean, it was $80. I dont think I have any bug bites on me yet lol Would stay again if 5hat means anything lol

Nothing good. Cannot believe there are good reviews. TV not working. Staff comments "I do not know how to work the TV". Room not clean. OLD carpet needs replacement. Strong smells of "owner owned cooking", really overwhelming. Booked for 5 nights and finally left on night 2. Lost money but had to get the hell out. Only bonus is that there is a nice bar nearby. I should have drank myself to sleep there.

The Derman Village Inn is near major bus stops in Columbus, Ohio. I took the bus from the Inn and arrived at the John Glenn International Airport in about 1 hour 15 minutes. I took a taxi to the Drury Hotel at the convention center and it cost $35. The bus from the German Village inn to the airport cost $2.50. You are near buses going north to downtown Columbus and north to the Ohio State University. Schiller Park is two blocks away. Schmidts Restaurant and Sausage Haus is about a five minute wslk from the German Village Inn.

A solid 7. Nice enough place to stay. The property is dated but decently maintained. Good value for the money especially when compared to the cost of other hotels in the Columbus area. The hotel’s location was outstanding. Located in a great neighborhood, walking distance to restaurants and bars. Area felt very safe.

Staff was not very helpful or friendly. Parking was pretty full when we arrived, with two service trucks blocking one side of the two side entry/exit. Lobby was hard to get to, dreary, dark and full of boxes. Door to exit not ice area held open by a wire. Room was spacious but dingy and smelled musty. A/C did work well and the rom had a full size refrigerator/freezer with large flatscreen TV. The bed was very comfortable. A lot of water damage spots on ceiling and obviously this is an older establishment. This establishment is less than a block to a wonderful German restaurant and beautiful city park.

I got there Friday and they were reroofing the buildings. There was no place to park. The room was definitely dated. The AC was loud, shower temperature was difficult to control. Saturday roofing began early and the blocked one of the exits. The staff while not rude were very short. I am of the opinion of you get what you paid for.
