"This is a historic place visited by the likes of Henry Ford, filled with fishing memorabilia on the walls, that is a great choice for a group (or family) who wish to test their skills on the Au Sable or other local trout streams Terry and the other staff were wonderful. The suite I stayed in, one of two with their own bath rooms, was commodious. It's well located on the north branch of the Au Sable, and only about 25 minutes from Grayling. "

"We had a great time at the cabin, love the layout of the inside and it was very cozy and comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed and the air was a nice touch since it was 100 degrees a couple of the days. Fire pit is in a nice setting and the dock and row boats were used more then any chair lol so peaceful and beautiful. Great place to relax and disconnect. Oh, the trails are really nice too, kept up and such a great activity to explore! Overall, it was nice and clean, cozy, and I love that I can bring my fur babies. They loved it as much as we did."

"My family and I travel once a year during the summer where we all go in on a large home that will accommodate all of us. This is the best place by far out of all of the years we’ve gone together. There was more than enough supplies in the cabin, plenty of beds and it was very clean. I highly recommend this Cabin for large families. The host was more than accommodating and very helpful when asking for things to do with my family I give this place a 10 out of 10!"

"We had a great week at the Cypher Cabin on Big Wolf Lake! The cabin is well stocked, the fishing was great, and the lake is very peaceful with no motorboats or jet skis. We brought our own trolling motor and used the provided rowboat every day. It was just right to get us to the good fishing spots (which is almost everywhere). We had a couple questions during our stay and the hosts were very quick to respond and very accommodating! There’s also plenty to do in Lewiston just 5 minutes away. We raced go-carts, played mini golf, and had some great food. My 4 year old loved the beach on East Twin Lake. The Cons: There is no A/C, however there were 3 fans and multiple ceiling fans that kept everything circulating pretty well with the screen doors open. The worst part was the odor from the dumpster sitting out front by the road. It stunk when we got there and never got emptied the whole week we were there.Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely stay here again! For the fishing enthusiasts - an 1/8oz mepps in orange, white, or firetiger caught everything from 24” northern to 3lb largemouth to 10” bluegill. Frogging was pretty good too!"
