“Hot holiday weekend and we lost power due to a storm so we went to the hotel. Because of the holiday weekend and not heavily booked they had cut staff to allow people to enjoy the holiday with family. Then the storm hit and they were packed. As a result we couldn't check in at 4:00 we had to wait until 4:15, no big deal. The room was spotless. The hotel was spotless. Services were prompt. Breakfast in the morning took all of 10 minutes to prepare. A hot made to order off a menu meal, not……

“I stay at this hotel often, and I always recommend it. But this time, they did not get a confirmation of our reservation for 3 rooms from Expedia. NOT THE HOTEL'S FAULT! We had to find our rooms at a different, more expensive hotel. Never had this experience with Expedia before. The desk clerk said I was the second guest that day with the same issue.”

“We had a wonderful stay at this Hampton Inn! The hotel was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and had such a cozy, homey atmosphere from the moment we walked in. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and everything was well-maintained throughout our stay. We were in town visiting my husband's hometown, and this was the perfect place to stay. “Close to downtown Marshall, Mi. About 10 minutes from Firekkeeper's Casino and Hotel. Enjoyed delicious lunch at historic Win Schuler's restaurant which I highly recommend for lunch or dinner. We did not stay for complimentary bteakfast. Room very clean but felt only 2 washcloths inadequate for two persons in the room.”

“Check-in took forever and the attendant had a difficult time understanding English. The room was damp and dingy. The toilet obviously had not been cleaned or flushed, as waste was left in the toilet bowl. The coffee pot and the light could not be plugged in at the same time and were left unplugged, when a simple three way adapter would have solved the problem. The cord on the TV was unplugged and would not reach the receptacle, requiring the staff taking an extension cord from another room. The……
