The gold-domed State House anchors a walkable downtown where you can browse indie shops and catch live music at Capitol Center. History buffs should tour the Pierce Manse and McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center, then rent kayaks for a peaceful paddle on the Merrimack River.
We were pleasantly surprised with this property. The downtown area is wonderful, lots of unique shops. The staff were very helpful and the check-in was very easy. I’m very happy I chose this hotel.

This was our first time. We checked in with two kids and a small dog. We got 3rd floor room with one king bed and one double bed. The room was clean and very spacious. It had separate big bathroom. The owner greeted us and prepared some tea not long after we checked in. They are very friendly and told us about the history if the inn. The next day, the staff prepared a maple muffin and omelette for us with juices and fresh brew coffee. We love the place, the friendly staff and the beutiful rooms...

Super friendly staff, really big nice room. Clean, but found an old bag of rotten Funyuns in the closet as we did a check out sweep. So that’s my only real complaint. We’d stay again!

We spent the second night of our driving trip to Newfoundland at this hotel, and if you love minor league baseball as much as my family and I do, this is a wonderful place to be. It is a tad pricey, but you get what you pay for, and we decided to splurge and get a room overlooking the ball park. You don't even need to buy a ticket to the game (although we did), no matter where your room is, though, because there is a patio deck with food and drink service overlooking left field. You can also...

We thought the pool and hot tub had a ton of algae on the bottom but once closer it may be just very badly rubbed off paint. The bed sounded like every spring was broken. Jetted tub in bedroom also looked very dirty on bottom. All chairs in room were stained or dirty looking. If these things could be fixed/updated out stay for a night would have been perfect. Staff were ALL super friendly.
