“Such a wonderful stay clean, quiet and beds were a little hard but great price for bed and breakfast. Dinner was so good French dip sub cooked in garlic and so good. Pumpkin head beer to bring off the fall season and so helpful and kind”

“We had visited Whitney's Inn before and were aware it is currently transitioning to new ownership, which apparently aspires to revitalize the whole ski resort community. So we had reasonable expectations going into this. The property has certainly seen better days - our bedframe was literally caving in! But staff were friendly and willing to help make things right. We are midweek travelers so the place wasn't too busy. The adjoining Shovel Handle Pub is now open midweek so we were able to try it……

“A wonderful old inn and a unique stay. Mostly decorated in a traditionl style, with a few modern touches. The staff were exceedingly helpful and friendly. The breakfast was delicious and the inn's restaurant is renowned - bookings essential. The food was amazing! Plenty of parking and an easy walk into the town center. We would certainly return.”
