“An amazing place to stay, especially the beachfront villa overlooking the lagoon. A simple but adequate kitchen with a convenience store, servo and Villies burgers all within a few minutes walk. Bus service runs from just outside the property. The hosts are warm and friendly people.”

“The rooms were clean, and the apartment setup was excellent. The pool was an absolute lifesaver in the Rarotonga heat, and overall, we had a very pleasant stay. We were unaware that air conditioning comes at an additional cost. The owner later informed us that this is stated on the Coral Sands website, but we must have missed it. This was unexpected, as we have not encountered extra charges for air conditioning at any other Pacific island hotel we’ve stayed at. During the trip, I became unwell……

“We enjoyed our stay, our accommodation met most of our needs. It was clean, it was spacious for the 3 of us, communication was good and clear and it was good value for money given the last minute booking on our end as well. One thing I would recommend is wifi, a microwave and hopefully in the future a built in air con because it was super hot! Thankfully though, there were fans provided which did help in some way. Thank you again for having us.”

“Pleasant rural outlook, away from area of bars and resorts, but a short drive to Muri shops, beach and dining. It is a comfortable apartment. The driveway is a bit rough, and I was glad to have got a taxi there, and hired a car next day, as it would have been hard to find in the dark.”

“Affordable welcoming clean bright ideal location. Only issue is free wifi was advertised as part of the package and I didn’t find out till I arrived at accommodation that there was no wifi. Also I ran out of toilet paper - put extras in bathroom cabinet and supply a beach towel. I would stay there again it was fantastic. ”

“Perfect size and location for my solo holiday. The fruit platter and divine lemon bread were much appreciated on arrival. I will definitely book again.”
