I chose this hotel because I had looked forward to hanging at the pool and the hot tub. The pool is in the shade after 2 p.m. (chilly) and there were not quite enough chaises to go around. One staff member wanted to charge us $45 to check in early but the other one said to just check in and enjoy the afternoon. The rooms are super cool and modern, so modern that we could not figure out how to turn off the wall light and needed to ask the front desk for help. It was embarrassing but clearly we were not the only folks who struggled with this. The shower was fabulous and the bed comfortable, but the pillows were too thick to sleep on comfortably. We checked out at 5 a.m. so did not get to eat breakfast.

The bathrooms could’ve been a little cleaner around the baseboards and edges It seemed like it doesn’t get wiped frequently. My main concern was the overwhelming black mold growing in the stairwells bottom floor. The smell was unbearable, please get that remediated.
