“Overall, the Vindel was a reasonably priced place to stay. No front desk...but phone calls are answered promptly. My difficulties arose when I was unable to lock my door due to a malfunctioning dead bolt (Room 14) as well as not able to access streaming due to Wi-Fi not working properly. Perhaps all has been fixed by now....but it was inconvenient. There is not a pool.”

“For a motel, it’s classy! Normally, I’d never stay at a motel, but my wife wanted the beautiful view of the bridge, which is gorgeous. Everything is nearby including the original mackinaw city light house one door over. I like the shower, mini fridge, Kuerig coffee, comfortable beds (cute pillows). Walls are the 80’s fake-wood style (dated) but in good condition. We got a great deal and I’d be happy to return to THIS motel. The gentleman at the counter was nice, even gave me extra Keirig cups,……

“Great Location, had all kinds of amenities if you could walk to it outside. Fire pit...We had to go buy fire starters, pool was in another building. For St. Ignace, overall, it is a fair deal. The Casino, has very low odds of winning, this is my experience of being there twice. St. Ignace is a pretty interesting small town, Mackinaw Island is expensive, covered in crowds, Bicycles and horse carts, but the businesses on this island have to make their income in less than 7 months. nightlife is……
