“The property seemed clean and comfortable. The heating system worked well. We cooked several meals there and enjoyed 4 nights of excellent sleep. We also used the outdoor grill, using wood, and found it easy to use as well. I would definitely stay here again.”

“This cabin is perfect! The owners are extremely responsive & helpful with any questions you may have. The location is close enough to town yet far enough away to ensure privacy. The cabin was very clean & has anything & everything you could possibly need. The owners have thought of everything! ”

“Our visit worked out exactly as hoped, giving us the perfect central location to get to Oswald’s Bear Ranch, Pictured Rocks, Kitch-iti Kipi , Tahquamenon Falls, and Benny the Beard Fisher. A few things to keep in mind though when you choose this property: the upstairs bedroom is an open loft (without a door for privacy), evening dining on the rear deck has a lovely view but is subject to loud road noise, and if you have someone sleeping on the pullouts in the living room it is quite comfortable...

“Brought our granchildren from North Carolina to see the U.P. Saw Soo Locks, Tahquamenon Falls,Miners Falls, Pictured Rocks, Seul Choix Pointe Lighthouse, water tower in manistique & fish Hatchery,Kitch-iti-kipi, & Oswalds Bear Ranch we loved the sauna & bonfires & family time!”

“My wife and I just got back from our stay at the cabin. Perfect size for us and cozy. Fantastic view of the lake. Cabin was very well furnished, supplied and excellently maintained. Plenty to do there with the private kayaks and town was just a short trip down the road.”

“We had a wonderful time at your secluded cabin. It was such an awesome little lake ,so clear we watched turtles and fish. Enjoyed kayaking, swimming, bonfires and watching sunsets. Took hikes on trails and picked blueberries. Amenities should be updated to say bring own linens and towels as they are not provided. Owner did contact us few days before our stay to inform us. Hope to be able to return again in future. ”

“The cabin was centrally located. The cabin was nicely decorated and in excellent condition. Everything was in working order and in good shape. We took day trips to Pictured Rocks, Munising, Marquette, Manistique, Tahquamanon Falls, Paradise, Grand Marais, and Fayette Historical State Park while we were there. We ate dinner at the cabin all but one night since it had a well-equipped kitchen and a good gas grill on the back porch. If we are able to visit the UP again we would be happy to...

“Great property in a great location. We had a group of 6 of us that have been coming up to the UP for 10 years snowmobiling and are always looking for a nice place. This definitely qualifies. Plenty of room for the 6 of us. Nicely remodeled, great views, easy lake access. Plenty of parking area. Would recommend, and will try to stay here again!”

“The place was great! Annie was awesome to work with. It's a beautiful quiet lake. I've been coming to this lake for years. But first time staying here. We loved it. Plenty of room for everyone. There is no Internet, but it was actually kinda nice. Took the kids sometime to get used to that . It was fun watching DVD's and VHS with the kids.Great beach area and dock to enjoy. “A lovely, small cottage on the lake that was a perfect launch point for various sight seeing adventures. Wonderful to sit out on the patio and enjoy the lake breeze, and Lake Superior is around a 5 min walk from the cottage! One thing to note : GPS will send you up the hill, which is not where it is located. Cottages are right on the lake where the road up the hill t's into the main road - there are signs as well, but if arriving at night they will be hard to see. All in all a wonderful time!”

“My wife and I stayed at one of the cabins so we could be a shorter drive from Grand Marias. Check in was easy, cabins were exactly as described. Boomer went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed and even showed my wife the not yet renovated cabin left on the property (she’s nosy). “Clean and cute, and just right for 3 of us to be based out of when we hiked at Pictured Rocks. Boomer was very friendly and told us the story of how the cabins came to be. Seney itself was quiet with not much happening, but a good place to sleep between Grand Marais and Munising.”

“Arrived at address posted took us to the wrong house correct address give to us. After communicating with the other location we finally found the house after about 30 minutes. No room for parking. Lot was not plowed. Spent a good hour plus shoveling to get my truck and trailer off the road. Not enough room if you have larger then a two place snowmobile trailer and even with my two place trailer and truck were just barely off the road. Rental house beside us same property had their truck and...
