Waterfront vacation home with kitchen and balcony
We have enhanced our cleaning and disinfecting procedures in line with CDC guidance and we provide our guests with disinfecting wipes/sprays, disposable masks and anti-bacterial soap. Our 3-acre property is waiting for you to social distance and relax while enjoying the spectacular view of the river.

Relax in this quaint cottage that sits directly on the Susquehanna River. Step back into a simpler time and enter the beauty and charm of this two story house featuring a large wrap around deck from which you can watch eagles fly over the river. Walk right down to the water's edge and enjoy the river from our dock. Fish from the shore, or use one of our 6 kayaks to explore the Susquehanna and it's lush islands. The house features 2 private bedrooms and 2 large open loft areas which offer multiple beds for our guests (please see bedroom descriptions below for complete overview).

Every year, we have continued to upgrade the amenities! We have added an additional bathroom and upgraded the existing bathroom. Split System Air Conditioning/Heating units have been added throughout the house for our guest's comfort. A new concrete patio has replaced the stone patio, making it even more comfortable to spend time near the river. We have expanded the size of our dining room which allows an even larger eating area for our guests while providing stunning views of the river.

We are easy to get to - just off of 22/322 in Dauphin, within a short driving distance of all Central PA attractions (Downtown Harrisburg, Hershey Park, Gettysburg, Lancaster, etc.). Convenient location in Central PA makes a perfect spot to meet friends and relatives from surrounding states. Only 25 minutes from the Harrisburg International Airport. Uber services are available in our area in case you wish to leave your car at home.

nice getaway
This home was as advertised, with additional touches like insect repellent, binoculars for bird watching, and flashlights by each bed. Owners were always quick to respond, both prior to arrival and while on site. We spent a lot of time on the deck, enjoying the water view ... but not the mosquitos :-). Also watched a storm roll in through the big windows in the dining room. Our group included elderly Seniors, so were unable to enjoy the grounds as a younger family would. If you're a light sleeper, traffic noise from the nearby highway and frequent freight trains (across the river) takes getting used to. Very good take out dinner from the nearby Stoney Creek Inn.

Great House on the Susquehanna!
We loved our stay at this house! Great location from Hershey park and the outlets, because of high flows in the river we couldn’t use the kayaks, but we did sit out by the fire every night! The house is equipped with everything you could need, literally, the kids lived the loft space on both sides of the house they had their own space, this is a great rental for kids of all ages. We cooked meals in the kitchen which was fully stocked, we didn’t have to supply anything except food! We will most likely be returning next year! Pam and Mike thank you for doing a great job with this property!
