Dead End Beach Tours

Staff is amazing once on the property. I tried emailing beforehand to ask questions and book things prior to arrival and was told I needed to speak with the front desk once checked in. We didn't end up booking spa services, tours with the hotel or room upgrades. I had to be moved mid trip because my room flooded and there was no electricity. Needless to say the first room was better from the one king bed, building placement, and view. The tiles are coming off in the adults only pool which I thought was a hazard but the pool was clean. The beach area is not great as there is a lot of rocks in the water making it hard to walk and seaweed. The entertainment from the staff was great throughout the trip whether it was during the day by the pool or at night after dinner. Majority of the restaurants and entertainment are on the family side so while you do have access to them the point of me booking an adults only resort is so I don't have to deal with underage kids. The food was ok nothing to rave home about and not a reason to book. My friend wanted to do something special for my birthday before arrival and no one could assist. I did get a small bottle of rum in my room but no birthday banner on the door like other guests. I did get a banner in the 2nd room which said "Happy Anniversary", not quite. Ultimately, my overall experience was ok but I probably wouldn't recommend or return unless they improve the email customer service, food and renovate.

All staff were professional, courteous and friendly. They all went out of their way to grant your requests. The ambience is very nice. The electrical outlets on the patio didn't always work. Had to be creative in getting plugs to stay in. They also need to upgrade from 110v to 220v. Just kidding, but they should have something for travelers from Europe. Internet service was pretty good. Everyone in my group were pleased and would return. The tour setup for us by the manager was fun!!!! Good people, fantastic accommodations. Recommended...
