“Overall, it is a very nice hotel. Like apartment, you have kitchen, bathroom, living room and so on. Not so many choices but good breakfast. It’s not safe in Calama, so it’s a good idea to choose a hotel like this with gate and security. ”

“Hotel Kimal was the perfect base for our exploration of San Pedro de Atacama. It is right in the town, walking distance from everything. Our self-contained villa/cabin was spacious, comfortable, private, quiet and warm (with a spa bath!) and the staff at Hotel Kimal were extremely helpful, responsive and accommodating. Special shout out to Cristian who looked after us impeccably. Top choice for San Pedro!”

“Casa Solcor is like a beautiful oasis in the desert. The entire place is adorably decorated. The staff was extremely helpful with any questions we had about the area or the facility. They helped us plan our daily adventures, set up the hot tub for us, arranged for food delivery... any request they handeled swiftly and kindly. I would love to go back in warmer weather to take advantage of the beautiful pools and common lounge areas. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!”

“The owners were extremely helpful and welcoming. When we checked in, they warmly introduced us to everything in the lodge and showed us the shared facilities. The pool area, courtyard, and both the outdoor and indoor decorations were very cozy and charming. At night, you can even take beautiful photos of the starry sky from the courtyard. As for the room, the good points were that it was well equipped, had plenty of shelves and storage space for our things, and was cleaned every day. The main……

“I have forgotten to take back my passport during checkin. On the next day of checkout I was super panic that I have lost my passport. I searched all my luggages and could not find it. At the end I realized the receiption has kept it. I am UNSURE why they did not return the passport to me to my room. A large part of the bathroom facilities are rusted making it a bit uncomfortable. ”

“We lived our experience at Atacama Loft, staff was wonderful & available any time we needed assistance. The property is a 20 minute walk from the town center, but we loved having the Mountain Views & enjoyed our walks & riding the bikes into town. We will definitely be back!”
