Excellent hotel in kind of an Art Deco style in a nice area of Auckland. Not a far walk from the wharf and ferry building. It has a bar on premise with a free drink on arrival. The included continental breakfast was delicious with fresh fruit, toasted muesli, Greek yogurt, bread basket and fresh OJ and coffee. Delightful. Great room, spotlessly clean, fresh cup of hot tea brought to my room on arrival. Great little town square area of restaurants and pubs just a 2 minutes drive down the street. Would stay again with no hesitation.

This hotel was an absolute dream. It was a perfect combination of luxury and peace. I will absolutely be returning here. It was my birthday, and they were so sweet to me! Everything was clean, and we had a beautiful view, the food was delicious, we had a lovely time. Again, highly recommend.

Our stay at SkyCity Hotel was phenomenal! We arrived hours before our check-in, but luckily there was a room that was readily available that they were able to give us. We were able to leave our luggage with the concierge while we went to a breakfast spot across the street that they had recommended. Great location for shopping and food options. We didn’t rent a car, but a lot of places were within walking distance. Absolutely loved our stay here and would definitely stay again!

Very comfortable stay. The beds were comfy. The location was very close to a lot of things. I didnt try the breakfast, but the food at ember was good. The staff were very helpful.

Excellent location. Staff extremely helpful, courteous, and went out of their way to help us find public transport suitable to our needs. The room was spacious and quite. There is a lot of construction around the hotel, which complicates traffic. Tons of restaurants within wañking distance. Would stay again.

Very happy with our stay here. Great location on the Viaduct Harbour. Very luxurious facilities, on the level of Grand Hyatt or JW Mariott. They have nice spa facilities and gym that are accessible to all guests. Their spa services were wonderful as well.

We arrive after hours from the airport, however check in was easily instructed, and there was a yellow bus that gave us transport for $8 per person. We were greeted with a lovely amenities basket, as well as clean utilities and beautifully prepared room.

Staff is extremely nice and helpful. Everyone made an effort to chat and help (traveled with infant). CBD about a 20 minute drive, depending on traffic, and highways easily accessible. Property was clean, everything worked, and the room was pleasant and comfortable.

This was my second time staying in this property and it is always a great experience. For international travelers like myself, they are very accommodating and make check-in a breeze. The rooms are clean and the beds are so comfortable. The in-house restaurant is incredible especially their breakfast buffet! After a month in NZ, this was probably the nicest place we’ve stayed. It felt like we were visiting a friend’s home, instead of staying in a hotel. Sitting room cozy, kitchen modern, fully equipped and clean. Hosts very friendly. Close to town which wasn’t too touristy.

We stayed in one of the rooms. Beautiful view. Shared toilet and kitchen facilities were very clean. Unique setting.

Other than weak wifi signal we truly enjoyed our three nights stay. It's a beautiful estate in a beautiful natural setting, a great place for relaxing and going around exploring the nature beauty. The restaurant is great with limited choices but everything is cooked at a fine dining quality.
