"This was my second stay at the Fishermans Village after staying last year too. Experience was again great, the parking was easy and it was nice and quiet around the premise. Easy access to the surrounding water with the views being brilliant, particularly at sunrise and sunset! Álftanes is a great place to stay if you have a car and aim to travel around the west of Iceland. "

"The cabin style room I stayed in was clean and spacious. I LOVED the Viking theme of it all and it is the main reason I picked this hotel. Breakfast was a big plus and I really enjoyed my meals at the restaurant. The sauna was wonderful and although the hot tub is small and tucked next to room windows, it still felt private. I would 100% stay here again! "

"Only the bare minimum was available in the kitchen. Bring your own corkscrew and knives! We had to pay a lot for extra cleaning of the room and then noticed they had not done much, not changed the sheets nor cleaned the bathroom. There was a lot of dust behind and under couch.... "

"It was very neat, tidy!! Loved that it had a cooking station! Did coffee and tea every day!! Staff was not to friendly, but i found alot of Icelanders were not on the very friendly side unfortunately!"
