If you plan to explore I highly recommend renting a vehicle as food and water are not super easy to access on the narrow shouldered roads by walking. You’ll be happy to return from a day of beach hunting to the quiet, safe and most beautiful little beach side hotel. ”

“If you wish to stay on a lovely small houseboat in the beautiful turquoise water of a quiet island this is it. The resort restaurant is a two minute walk with great Bahamian cuisine. Fresh fish and other choices. The continental breakfast is truly a full fresh breakfast. Everyone knows you and wants to help you. There are fishing tours readily available and we spent a good Part of the week hiking about and lying on the empty beaches. Lots of sailboat cruisers around to chat with and other areas……

“Duplex perched on a narrow, breezy ridge with wide porch all around and access to secluded ocean beach in front and broad, flat bay in the back with gazebo. Very pleasant 1 mile walk to town with several decent restaurants and small stores; owner will rent a golf cart. Absentee owner but quick to respond to phone requests (rather than Vrbo message). Problematic boat access at house because bay becomes sand flat at low tide (use docks in town) but almost no bugs because of breeze. Kitchen quite……
