Great experience at the property

The only thing I did not like was the church bell across the street that rings every 15 minutes, but the hotel provides ear plugs. They were a great help.

Perfect stay - luxurious and comfortable

I had the most enjoyable stay at Eyja Guldsmeden! A very clean hotel with excellent service! The breakfast was plentiful and delicious, and the location of the hotel is very convenient. Special thanks to Laura who was super nice and helpful with dining recommendations! Will be back!

Great place to stay. Great food, close to the airport, and in a quiet, scenic part of the country, away from the city.

The owner and staff were very accommodating and extremely helpful. They also went out of their way to make sure any questions we had were answered. Parking was free, great complimentary breakfast. Property is about a 40 minute drive from the airport, 15 min walk from the center of town. They really care about their business here. Support local small businesses. They truly care.

Our stay at the Green Geysir Cottage was wonderful. This property is relatively new, with more being built. Its one of the BEST places that we have stayed in Iceland. The cottage was clean, comfortable, private and close to many attractions. Well equipped kitchen/great room area, very nice private bedroom/bathroom set up. The property hot tub was large and well maintained. We will definitely be staying her for several nights on our next trip.

My stay at Alda & Iceland itself was wonderful. As a solo traveler I felt safe at the hotel & the front desk staff was very helpful as well as friendly! Room was cute & clean. They provided a coffee maker & mini fridge which I stored some items from the Bonus store 2 mins away. I was sad to leave.

I had a great experience at this hotel. The staff was excellent, very friendly and helpful. The rooms were elegant, comfortable and cozy. The breakfast buffet each morning was fabulous with lots to choose from, including smoked salmon, local cheese and fresh bread made at the bakery next door. always very accommodating, very friendly staff, location is great

We stayed for only one night, but this is one of our favorite hotels. First of all, we are family of 5 and stayed in the family room. It is more than enough to accommodate six people comfortably. The hotel is also extremely well maintained and very clean. It is directly across the street from a grocery store. Clean, cozy, beautiful, well located hotel! Above all, the hotel staff was super kind and helpful. They helped us immediately when we had issues finding the bus back to the airport, and solved our problem and our stress of missing our flight. Hotel Kria was a perfect place to stay on the southern coast of Iceland. It was a cozy and welcoming environment with very nice room accommodations.
