"We enjoyed this hotel. Nice room a good breakfast. Very close to the town centre around five min walk and 10 mins to main bus station from which you can get a bus to anywhere on the island. It is also a reasonable walk to the lift from which you can get the Gozo fast ferry. Although there was no evening meal available there are plenty of eating places along the same road as the hotel."

"The hotel is just completing a major extension and the connection between the old and the new was a bit complicated to navigate (two separate lifts and long corridor) especially when given incorrect instructions by the check-in staff. The room and the bed were very large and had a nice balcony and bathroom but the fittings were poorly installed and some fell off or were missing altogether (eg hand towel rings, night light). The aircon was a bit difficult to operate and there seemed to be no 'off' switch. We were also disturbed when sleeping by a knocking noise somewhere near our room. It felt like the development had been rushed into service and there was still some work going on around us. The hotel is well situated and has beautiful views. The bar and restaurant were very good and the evening meals we had in the lobby restaurant were superb. Very friendly staff and very good service. The Spa was very good and well priced though the indoor pool is a bit gloomy. "The pictures in my opinion on the booking sites are nothing like what we were given. The room was dirty - cleaners only empty bins and wash out drinking cups with water, there is no deep clean even when we requested this twice - bedding was not changed. The food was really nice Staff are polite but it’s ashame the guests aren’t - no please and thank yous and they seem to walk into you! "
