We arrived late but the owner came to pick us up at the bus stop and took us back to our place. Check in was smooth and the lady gave us a little tour of our cottage as well and explained everything. The place was spotless and had a perfect view of mount fuji. There was plenty of space and we could have easily fit more people in our cabin than just the 4 of us. My friends and I stayed here for one night during what was supposed to be the peak time for Sakura in Lake Yamanakako. This place did not disappoint despite the Sakura being shy. The view from our room And the rooftop was incredible, the owners and workers were also incredibly kind and attentive. Overall we felt so grateful for our experience.

Room is big, clean and cozy. Environment is great and peaceful. Location is good. It is only 10 minutes walk to the lake. We had a great time here.

5/5 Definitely recommended for anyone especially if you come in bigger group! There was only 3 of us so it was plenty of space. They picked us up at the train station. Service was excellent. They were very nice toward us. I unfortunately only stay at this lovely villa for only one night because I already booked else where. I will definitely stay there again if I have a chance. It was pretty close to the lake as well. On a clear day, you can easily see Fuji-san.

The view of Mt Fuji is amazing and there was plenty to do. Bike riding, coffee shops and boating.

Incredible experience. Staff members are excellent, anticipating all needs, and ensured a comfortable stay with clear communication. They confidently used translation tools to communicate. Everything is laid out for you to use, in the tent, bathroom, campfire and kitchens (dinner and breakfast to grill). Private space and really cozy. One of the most enjoyable stays thus far during my trip to Japan!

Stayed here for a work trip. Great location and friendly staff. I was late for check-in due to transportation and staff stayed up to wait for me. Location is nice and quiet, about 30min walk from downtown.

Clean and updated property with many amenities. Very comfortable! Without transportation, it’s quite far from train/ bus station especially when on foot with multiple pieces of luggage. Not many restaurants in the area.

A unique experience! Comfortable, very clean, and the staff were very hospitable. The onsen were very relaxing. Most notable was the food—absolutely stunning presentation and very interesting (we are new to Japanese food). The ryokan is on the quieter side of town but it’s still possible to walk to the attractions, especially on the path beside the lake.

Great little hotel with great view… recommend meal service.
